Hello everyone,
Well summer is finally here, I think....
PAC would like to thank you all for your membership and support this year. Due to your generosity, we have been able to accomplish many activities for the students and provide support for the High School and the Middle School.
In addition to the annual events that we sponsor like the Freshman Orientation, Senior BBQ, Staff Appreciation Baskets, Middle School Dances, Middle School Library Summer Program, etc., we were able to add some additional activities this year including an additional scholarship for seniors, Junior Engineering Day, Excels Program equipment, ELMO equipment for the Middle School, and a new PAC web page.
Additionally, we would like to thank the following Chairs of several events held this year:
Kristen Gillespie - Staff Appreciation Baskets
Tina Varinos and Maria Pease - Middle School Dances
Gina Kelley - Middle School Activities
Lee Harris - High School Parent Teacher Conferences
"Food for Thought" over the summer:
We will need a new Treasurer starting in 2010. We would love to have someone apprentice this year with Lee Harris, our current Treasurer. This position requires about 2 to 3 hrs. per month.
Middle School Dance Chair - We have two dances in the fall.
Parent-Teacher Conference Computer Coordinator - Requires only a total of 6 - 8 hrs. of computer time over a 2 wk. period at the beginning of November.
Membership Coordinator - Primary workload is a couple of computer hours each week in Sept. and Oct.
Vice President - A really fun position as our Board is great!
Once again, thank you for a fabulous year and have a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer. We will start accepting memberships again in late August.
